Matthew Y. Emerson is dean of theology, arts, and humanities at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, as well an executive director of the Center for Baptist Renewal. He’s the author of “He Descended to the Dead”: An Evangelical Theology of Holy Saturday.
